Management of a distribution warehouse consisting of an AutoStore (100,000 bins), pallet area (narrow aisle warehouse and wide aisle warehouse), goods receipt area, consolidation area, CEP and forwarding packing and truck loading area with staging areas. The range of functions includes, among other things, the connection of the AutoStore with 24 storage and retrieval ports (carousel and conveyor ports), the connection of a conveyor system to connect the AutoStore with the shuttle consolidation warehouse for picking from the AutoStore and the packing department, the distribution stock received in the warehouse according to a defined and largely configurable storage strategy, transport control with complex transfer strategies between the individual storage areas, forklift control in the pallet area and the pick and pack process at the AutoStore. Furthermore, mobile devices are used on the storage area based on web technologies (operating system independent).
