iFD GmbH is pleased to welcome a well-known manufacturer of plastic products based in southern Thuringia as a new client. The company primarily produces its products using injection moulding for the cosmetics and food industries.

In February 2019, Boizenburg Fliesen GmbH and iFD GmbH began working together. The aim is to modernise intralogistics at the Boizenburg site.

iFD is showcasing hands-on software at LogiMAT 2019

iFD GmbH will once again be exhibiting at LogiMAT in 2019. We will be presenting our innovative transport management system, which can be seamlessly integrated into any logistics environment thanks to its tugger train module and interfaces to semi-automatic and FTF systems. We will also be focusing our trade fair presentation on various options for networking intralogistics in line with the IoT. You can find us from 19 to 21 February 2019 at Stand A01 in Hall 10.

Pretty cool: With the iFD forklift guidance system, TD Deutsche Klimakompressor GmbH is optimising the internal transport of its forklift fleet and achieving impressive process improvements.

For years, Microsoft-based devices dominated the mobile data capture market, but recently more and more manufacturers have been offering Android-based terminals and handhelds alongside the tried-and-tested Microsoft technology, which offer a number of advantages.

In an era of increasing digitalisation of work and business processes, staff training and knowledge sharing are of particular importance to iFD GmbH. For this reason, the company organised the Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering qualification programme through the International Requirements Engineering Board.

As entrepreneurial spirit and social responsibility go hand in hand, iFD made a donation to the Bärenherz Leipzig Children’s Hospice in June 2018. The funds were raised during a joint event with the German Logistics Association (BVL).

The main contractor ALZTEC GmbH from Trostberg and iFD GmbH have joined forces to commission a warehouse management system with material flow control for a warehouse supplying parts to a paint shop. The client is an international automotive group.

Another project in the field of automated systems was launched as early as late autumn last year. The scope of supply includes a complete warehouse and material flow control system for a transport, storage and sorting facility for an international automotive supplier.

At iFD, it has become a lovely tradition that, in the run-up to Christmas, it is not customers but children who receive gifts. This year, iFD chose to support the Förderverein Nachwuchssport e.V. in Flöha.

The ongoing development of iFD-LVSS is a key focus of the product strategy. Customer demand for a way to store documents centrally and in an organised manner has driven iFD to develop a user-friendly and efficient document storage solution.
