Merger of the companies within the iFD Group

as the great German poet Friedrich Schiller once put it.

We too are pooling our resources at the start of the new year and merging the companies of the iFD family under the umbrella of iFD GmbH to form a new, high-performance partner for IT-supported intralogistics systems.

With the merger of iFD GmbH (Chemnitz), DLS GmbH (Chemnitz) and iFD digiplant GmbH (Munich), we are uniting all the centres of expertise within the iFD Group and consolidating the entire value chain of our products and services into a single, strong brand.

This enables us to

• ensure uniform and consistent process certification in accordance with ISO 9001:2015,
• the centralisation and streamlining of our administrative processes
• as well as faster and more targeted product and project development,

from which our customers and business partners in particular will benefit. Almost 80 employees will support our more than 200 customers with the high quality, expertise and passion they have come to expect in the operation, development and management of challenging intralogistics processes.

Our customers and partners will continue to receive the same high-quality, proven service. Your contact persons, including all contact details, will remain the same. Our Munich office will remain and become the registered office of iFD GmbH. Furthermore, all employees of the former DLS and digiplant will in future also be reachable by email via the @ifd-gmbh.com domain.

Legal succession
The merger of the three companies is taking place within the framework of a merger pursuant to Section 2(1) of the German Transformation Act (UmwG). As a result of the merger, iFD GmbH assumes universal succession pursuant to Section 20(1)(1) of the German Transformation Act (UmwG), whereby the legal obligations and claims of iFD digiplant GmbH, Munich, and DLS GmbH, Chemnitz, are transferred in full to iFD GmbH.

Please note that the technical transition will take place in January 2021 and that communication during this transitional phase may be conducted under the old and/or new company name.

iFD GmbH is registered in the Chemnitz Commercial Register under number HRB 28992 and will in future be represented by the following managing directors:
