Digital marble run transformation at Maker Faire 2021

The Industrieverein Sachsen 1828 e.V. is once again organising MAKER FAIRE SACHSEN 2021 this year, in collaboration with the Branchenverband der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft Chemnitz und Umgebung e.V., FabLAB Chemnitz and C³ Chemnitzer Veranstaltungszentren GmbH.

The fourth Maker Faire Saxony will take place on 18 July 2021 in the Stadthallenpark in Chemnitz. This year’s Saxony Maker Faire will centre on the creative showdown at the Fidibus marble run contest. School pupils and apprentices are invited to design and build innovative marble runs that can also be played on.

The marble runs are presented on the website www.fidibus-contest.de. Visitors can rate the marble runs via an online vote. By voting for marble run no. 5, you can actively support the trainees at iFD GmbH.

iFD GmbH is also taking part with a creative team of four trainees from the WMS division. They will be showcasing a marble run of a very special kind – automated, digitalised and full of excitement.
